Crossing the Australian continent from west to east is going to be the most exciting adventure of the year for anyone who owns a vintage motorcycle. The Coast to Coast Rally will start in Perth, cross the Nullarbor Plain and the most fascinating and enchanting areas of the planet and finish in Sydney at the beaches of Bondi Beach. Taking place during the Australian summer and putting all vintage european motorcycle lovers in contact with Australian friendliness and the natural and uncontaminated beauty of the country makes the rally even more exciting. The entire journey is on asphalted roads representing no stress for motorcycles and for participants. Participants will travel on roads free of caotic traffic, which we are unfortunately forced to coexist with and find themselves in direct contact with the reality of that country. The organization will arrange and assure assistance along the entire journey for: reservations at stop overs, food and beverages, luggage transportation, recovery and transportation of broken down vehicles, motorcyle transportation from and back to Italy in sealed cases, all pertaining bureaucratic formalities, flight and visa. |

Major touristic interests will be indicated along the journey and in fact, the programme foresees visisting two small but very interesting motor museums and a ride on the Mont Panorama circuit in Bathurst. The Rally will conclude with a gala evening where prizes will be awarded. The event, recently presented in Australia, is already arousing great curiosity and interest. Therefore, this is a great opportunity for all vintage motorcycle lovers and to make our beautiful motorcycles known while visiting a country like all motorcyclists dream of. For participants with Harley Davidson and Indian motorcycles, Gaetano Granata from Brescia will assure technical assistance, spare parts and motorcycle preparations. Tino Sacchi will do the same for all of those who will participate in this adventure with a Lambretta. Other sponsors will do their part in guaranteeing technical assistance. |
